When I was a kid I used to take an old radio antenna from a car and make a wooden handle for it then attach a wire going to a plug. If you turned the electrical plug the right way you could feel it vibrate as you slid it into the ground. Worms would come out of the ground starting a foot or so away, and you could pick them up, but be sure they were completely out of the ground first. :lol: they would tickle a little if still partly in the ground. The worms close to the rod never came up, I assume it either killed or stunned them. As dangerous as that and other things I did as a kid were it is a wonder I survived this long.
