Stephen Newell- Got saw dust in my eye last night. Tried flushing it out to no avail. Woke up this morning with eye swollen shut. Went to Urgent Care center.
Had to pay $57.00 to see Doc. I paid. They said they would send me a bill for any added charges. Doc comes in and shines a light in my eye and says "Looks like a scratched lens. I'll call in a 'script for you and set up an appointment with an Ophthalmologist." Nurse comes in a little later and says she set up appointment and the initial payment for Ophthalmologist visit is $280.00.
I go to pick up the script and the Pharmacist Tech says that will be $178.00 for the eye drops.
I just came home and put gauze over my eye and taped it up. Now I am drinking my pain medicine.
