Hi RBoots being a self employed mechanic and farming to sometimes my own equipment comes second to everybody else farming that thinks they are the only important guy, out of 20 others . My 99 7.3 diesel won't run long enough between to long of oil changes to hurt the motor terminally, so these must run real ruff for quite a while.
I figured the last change was way over due on mine when it started to get slower firing up, then one cold day it was terrible starting.I changed the oil and it's back to good as it gets for a truck with 560.000 kms L.O.L. Not an ideal situation I know but some days after fixing other stuff/dealing with every other head ache here and out on jobs, laying under that truck at 10 pm some nights removing that filter doesn't really appeal.
