Don't bring the RV. Rochester is set up for visitors at Mayo. Tons of hotels/motels near the clinic--at all price ranges. The whole town is pretty well designed around Mayo. The weather? As others have said...the first week in November is usually chilly but not horrible. Might be a little snow but often the first snow is the 2nd-3rd week in November as all the deer hunters will tell you. Even if you brought the RV the nearest RV parks are likely to be on the edge of or out of town.
