I try to plant about 140,000 to 160,000 Depends on the seed and the ground. droughty ground will not take as much seed and wetter ground will support higher seeding rates. We still drill them. Want to change that next year. Would like to get to about 10-15 inch rows. The 15's would facilitate Spraying better for the tire width. I like taller beans. They seem to yeild better for me. Those short bean puller beans suck to cut.
