That is about the only reason I kept my Kawasaki! a guy gave me this OLD Bayou 300. 2wd, but it has a TOTALLY cool locker in the rear! It is 2 wheel drive, and will turn on a DIME until you dig out, then, moving or not, pull a little lever up, and it just "clunk" grabs up and goes!!!
We have modded the carb a little, it was a 300 engine, still is I suppose, but it flat out runs!!! Wheel standed on pavement! :P
Anyway, my point is, there were a few companies out there that made split rear end fourwheelers, but, I couldn't tell you who.. We had an OLD honda that was set up like this. Horrid machine, but in hind sight, I sure wish we had kept that rear axle.... :/
