A drop of mineral oil in each ear after they silk out will stop the ear worms but that's pretty much out of the question for you I would assume.When I used to grow a a lot of sweet corn to sell I'd just tell the customers up front to expect some ear worms didn't seem to bother most people.Timing has a lot to do with it and you never know this year I planted twice the first crop had some worms the 2nd bunch didn't have any.
