That being said, if you could ever find an older Benjamin air rifle, they are great. My dad bought us one in about 1970. Walnut stock, pump up, brass alloy barrel and workings. It is .22. I have killed racoons, possums and squirrels. I pump it 5-6 times for sparrows and starlings around the purple martin house. 8+ for bigger varmits.
