That's good stuff, a long time friend, at their pistol league, befriended a very highly educated and accomplished man, who worked on the Manhattan Project, very interesting dialogue, interview, private conversation etc., there's an article in the local paper, (see link below). He lives in this town, and frequents the long time dairy bar across the road, I never knew who he was. My friend had a "blast" speaking with him about various things, I hope to meet him myself. He had some interesting and significant facts about things related to the events that occurred in the war.
