If it is HOT and HUMID the mesh wrap can easily wrap on the mesh wrap rolls. It also takes just one small knick to start the whole thing wrapping.
Some things to check:
1) How sharp is the knife??? You want a little ragged edge but not two foot long tears. If it is too ragged it will wrap the starter rolls easier. 2) Blow all the chaff out of the attachment. It can cause the wrap to pile up and not go gown the mesh wrap pan. 3) Check and make sure the mesh wrap pan does not have anything stuck in it lie a twig or weed stem. That can cause the wrap to bunch up and wrap. 4) Has the baler set for a few weeks since you last used it??? In real hot humid weather I have had the mesh wrap guide pan rust and pile the wrap up. 5) Make sure the leaf spring that holds the guide pan up is not broken. If it is not against the bottom of the belts it will not pull the wrap dwon to start the bale.
If you check all of this and still no dice I would go get a different roll of mesh wrap. I have had some that just would not work.
