If it doesn't leak when nothing is hooked up to it, but leaks when it is, it is the O ring or possibly a male end that has a bad spot in it where the O ring sits. Ive gotten lucky in a store here for the pioneer couplers. The ones Ive redone with replacement O rings don't leak. I look in the hydraulic section and find the replacement O rings there then look in their regular O ring section for the comparable size. They are about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price as the ones in the hydraulic section. I did have one that did seep some once but it ended up being the male end had a bad spot in it. Replaced that and it worked fine.
