Remember when cars had vents in side kick panels beside driver and passenger feet? My first car ('60 Chevy) had them. They were pretty good at pulling cooling air into passenger compartment. Put a longer control cable on passenger side so I could control it from driver position without having to reach clear across the car. One evening, while on a date, at highway speeds, my passenger indicated she needed more airflow. Reached down and gave the knob a pull. She was wearing a pouffy, loose skirt. When that blast of air came in... WELL!!! Donno who was more embarrased.
