Father called me about a stump he wanted out at the church and asked me to bring over my Oliver and dig it up.
The Oliver is not stable on the road gears with so little weight on the front and the backhoe on the back, so 11mph on the level but any hills at all I had to go down to 2nd at 3mph. I really can't figure out how to get to the top gears, R1-2-5-1, to the lower set. 3rd or 4th would have been nice.
Dug a bit, stumps and shrubs came right up. Put everything in the dumpster and went home. Got the ferguson and took it over. 4th gear all the way, like a gocart. Graded everything nicely.
