The trouble with that style rake is the wheel setting. They are straight across. So when you cross a ditch or low spot the entire rake drops and digs into the ground. That is why the better rakes have the rear wheels staggered so one is across a ditch/low spot before the other hits it.
As for value???? In the heat of season you might get $1000. New Idea rakes in general will bring way less than NH. IH, or JD rakes. That rake here would be more $500-750 rake. Especially if the rake teeth are getting rotten.
