Hi, cant find my past post. I have installed the new wire harness, ignition switch, solenoid, for ford 3000 1965. all connections looked good seemed to fit) (The oil light lite up when I turn the ignition). there was no instruction about the (coil wires) (from coil to distributer)(coil to solenoid) and ( coil to the middle of the wire harness) they were all existing wires I left them there. the new harness did not come with or address these extra wires. I looked at online diagrams with a field wire but don"t want to cut into the harness until needed. I left all the extra wires connected but did not connect the one wire coming from the coil that was connected to the harness. I understand completing a circuit, and don"t want to break whats not broken, but not a mechanic or electrition. kinda winging it. any advise. Thank you tom..............
