Got a 6420 green and yellow lemon that seems to have an injector pump problem. It starts when cold and runs smoothly at a low idle. Try to speed it up and it sounds like a 2 banger. The tractor shuts itself off sometimes. Shut it off and restart and put it under load may make it run smoother. It runs better as it warms up. It skips anywhere as long as a half hour down to 2 minutes before it runs smoothly. We always have to restart the tractor for it to run smoothly. This is a great running tractor once the engine stops skipping. Any ideas or similar stories?
