Oh thanks Alan. 760lb close to the tractor. My bales are 4X5 & about 800 I'm guessing. The bottom of the cherry picker would be about 15" in front of the weight bumper and slants back to the tractor to be just 4" over the hood-towards the rear. So the working end of the cherry picker wouldn't be as close as a loader but shouldn't be more than a couple feet more.
You are correct Alan about getting to far in front. With these weights I'm right on the border line so placement is a concern.
