Too bad they wouldn't sell a rebuildable core reasonable. I know that Worthingtons in Saint John's near me wanted $1500 for an IH D282 core, no guarantee on the castings, and $2000 for an IH D239 core, once again, no guarantee on the condition of castings. I guess want and get are two different things though. Seems like they told me a D407 core was priced around $3500-4500, I was pretty sure it was the latter. Sold my JD 8.1L? Powertech core, good castings, for $300 about 7 years ago.
