Well i have bought and woren Mason Boots since about 73 . The one pair i bought back in the first part of Sept. 1977 was a pair of the work Western boots to go with my brand new layed out decked out 1977 I H 4300 Eagle I wore them everyday EXCEPT while loading or controlled unloading , Mason said that the soles would out last the uppers . Well here it is coming up on Sept of 2015 and YEP i still ware them but for how much longer ??????? as the leather is starting to dry rot even though i have polished them and all they are still dyeing as the one pull loop ripped , but the soles are still good along with the heels . Now the last pair i got from them was a pair of the 989 water proof and insulated , Lets just say that they are NOT the same OLD 989 Boot that i use to get , when they arrived they looked the same but were made in the land of almost wright . They did not come with the removable insole so i called and the LADY that i talked to told me to send them back , i asked her why not just send me the insoles , OH we can not do that you have to send the boots back and when we get the next SHIPPMENT in we will send you new boots . Well LADY i have waited for five months for these to come i am not waiting five more months . So i had to go buy a pair of insoles . Well this pair of 989's from China are not vary good and i should have sent them back and got my money back , the stitching around the toes is coming out the soles are almost wore out and i only ware them in the cold months when out and about and anymore that ain't much . I have a narrow foot and Mason is about the only one that offers boots in a Narrow size .
