i use jaguar 9600 plastic twine, it slides thru the baler like butter ,rarely have knotter problems. baled 1250 bales straw last week, missed 1 bale when changed balls twine. been using plastic about 15 yrs, wouldnt go back. done the 7200 and 9000 sisal twinebefore. have more problems with the thrower on the jd348 baler than the knotter and twine. had problems when we used sisal twine. added bennifit is plastic is lots cheaper than sisal now. sisal $50 bale, 9600 plastic $36
