Hi Allen. I have an 08 Duramax and I love it. Cant compare it to other brands cause that wouldnt be fair since I have not owned them. I keep very close records on my mileage and oil changes and such and I have found keeping track of my mileage is very boring since it rarely changes more than 1 or 2 mpg no matter if I am pulling or running empty. I would say my avg doing weekly driving is 17 mpg but I did on two occasions get 22 running the hi way around 65 mph with an empty 18' bumper trailer. The worst I have gotten by far is I follow a friend with a lead foot to Texas once running 75 to 80 mph pulling a small boat and I dropped to around 13 mpg. He was in a Chevy 1/2 ton gas job and he only got around 9. The truck seems to love to run but as far as good mpg about 65mph seems to be the ticket for my truck anyway. Anything faster than that I burn a lot more fuel. You seem to be a great guy so I hope it turns out to be a real keeper for you.

I was suppressed when I looked up the part number of the auxiliary drive shaft because for some reason the part number went through a radical change and it lost its "Basic Part Number".
