I bought an LGT-165 about 12-15 yrs ago that had a sicklebar attachment. The engine was blown and I put the mower on my 1972 LGT-125. Same tractor design and it fit perfectly.
It mows very well and will operate up to 90 deg vertical and 45 deg below horizontal.
Sickle bars use MUCH less HP than rotary mowers and easily cut 3 ft tall grass and brush.
I haven't used it in 3 or 4 years but I plan to keep it.
It was built specifically for the "tube-frame Jacobsen/Fords but I have never been able to determine the manufacturer; I do not believe it is a Haban.
I found a second one a couple of years after I got the first one but I sold it. They are quite rare and if you find one be prepared to pay a good price for it.
