What is so sad/ funny about that, is animal agriculture takes fiber products us humans can't use, and turns it into a very dense food we can use that ships easier, and is available year around. Making it possible for animal agriculture to be far more efficient than veggie farming especially. There is so much of the plants in veggie farming that aren't used, or go to waste before they can get to market, and the produce is seasonal so you are looking at importing food from a distance most of the year.
But none of that is important to people like that, they have their mind made up and if you chat with them they know it all because they read it on the Internet.
(Now I'm not trying to pit farmers against each other, I like my veggies and appreciate the job our veggie farmers do too!)
