the centre ring that the glass is in should be a press fit but it may be threaded as those gauges were assembled from the bottom up and the last piece installed is the glass due to its age and application I sure it will be hard to replace and not knowing if it's pressed in or not makes chancing more damage a big worry do you have any other gauge similar to it you can try prying apart only other suggestion I have is to cut the metal ring around the edge to remove the glass and put back together with JB weld and sand smooth when dry and repaint with time and work you wouldn't even know it was done
