It's a very informitive web site tvscum I spent a lot of time reading it today as I stated earlier I had never heard of them before and from your site I learned a lot and from what i see they were around for a long time as for your generator question that set up sounds similar to the earlier Allis set up my WD uses a 3 position switch for the gen and head lights 6 volt positive ground trouble is for me all 3 of mine were converted to 12 volt alts before I got them and those switches were removed but I do have a few of them maybe post your question in the Allis forum someone there should be able t tell you how they work on the Allis's and it should relate somewhat to your set up
