Reading about all these expensive repairs and computer glitches makes me glad I'm still driving my '81 one ton with big block and 4 speed. Has a zillion miles on it and just keeps going and going.
It doesn't pull as much or go as fast as a newer pickup but it does everything I need it to.
Forgot to add that I have an uncle who is a retired professional diesel mechanic and he drives a Duramax. Calls it his "Isuzu Diesel".
