Latest findings - took the voltage readings of each individual breaker and have things narrowed down to a SQ-D Homeline 50 amp breaker that powers my 40 year old Lincoln stick welder.
Pole #1 125.7 volts on/.57 volts off/ has continuity
Pole #2 125.7 volts on/.15 off/ OL/no continuity (???) & confirmed on 3 different multi-meters
Removed 50 amp breaker, closed the disconnect, main and all remaining breakers and power usage is now zero for the past 24 hours with no loads, including security light. Nothing in load center, breaker or wires looks like they've been hot. Welder sits on 2x6's above the barn's dirt floor, if that matters, and hasn't been used since late last fall.
