Jeff mowed it all today. I'll be spending most of tomorrow raking hay. The day after we should be hauling and wrapping. Got one 6 acre chunk he didn't mow, mainly because he is still spreading manure on that one. He doesn't need the hay anyway, so it's no big deal. The field was so run out over the years that it was barely producing enough to pay to run over the thing for one cutting for the last several years. Two years of manure applications and it's ready to produce two cuttings this year. Gonna leave it this year and hopefully attract a freezer full of deer this fall. Next year he figures on taking the two cuttings and selling the excess hay.
