Well at 3/4 of a century, I am finally realizing that you just can't go like you used to. Make your mind up to the fact and live with it. Get a grip. So I am adapting. Like today I was whacking my second hay cutting and after a couple of hours in the saddle, I just came back to the shop and goofed off for awhile before I went back and finished cutting. I think it's a matter of "knowing when to hold and when to fold, when to walk and when to run" (Kenny Rogers, "The Gambler").
