I looked at a used trailer for $2000. and for the heck of it priced a new one. $2000. for used vs. 2500 for new with more features, better ramps, spare tire, brakes on both axles, etc. Think about the price of a set of tires for a used trailer too.
Some states (Indiana is one) that now require brakes on both axles of tandem axle trailers. Beware of this when buying used. You have to work with the right dealer and wait until he orders a batch if you want additional options from the factory.
