Stupid.... They tried that in the local town and found that it was pretty easy for the Amish to just not do business there. A few of the local places with huge Amish business (feed mill, hardware store, grocery store, etc) got together to let the mayor know a few horse droppings was WEL worth putting up with. One of the people arguing for a new law (against the Amish) stood up in a city council meeting and actually used this for a reason to ban the horse apples: "I hate coming out of a car wash and finding a pile in the road. I didn't just wash my car for nothing". It's amazing what small minds have time to sit back and complain about (Him, not anyone on this thread).
