Well, I had better get you guys some pictures of my latest shenanigans! Believe you me! There are a few good ones..... Perhaps even evolving a cut girl! ;)
Got the swather all hooked up, and ready to ROAR! :) Due to the MAJOR drought that North Idaho is in, hay crops are averaging 1/2 to 1/3 what they were last year, which spelled out disaster for my oats. While there were very few weeds, they were thin, and short. Only got a fat ton off of the entire 5 acres! THAT bad! :( Oh well, good learning experience for sure! ;)
Mom was of course there taking pictures! ;)
Hay went to a good home as well, it will be feeding calves come spring... How do you boys like the stack job there?? Loaded that load by myself in 20 min... Little bales are AWESOME! :)
Oh ya, got a new chick magnet too... When Casey saw it, she said "Oh... Thats bigger than I thought.... When can I drive it!?!?!" She likes it to say the least.... ;) She told me next time I drive through town with it, to lock the doors... Said that if I don't, I might have a few more girl friends in the cab with me, and she wouldn't like that!! :P
Got this not so hot, hot rod too! Free is a good price right? My dad and I put a BRAND NEW Turbo 400 Trans in this 4 years ago, and it has had 282 miles put on it since then. Brand new tires too... 360 gasser, runs like a champ, just needs a battery!! :) I am planning on parting it out, BUT, if any of you guys want it, I'll make you one 'ell of a deal! :P
Think thats it... If I find something else I'll pass it along too!
Had better get myself cleaned up now, going in to town to go on a bike ride with Casey. Where we are going is a "surprise" to me.... OH boy! :P

Today's Featured Article - New Hitches For Your Old Tractor - by Chris Pratt. For this article, we are going to make the irrational and unlikely assumption that you purchased an older tractor that is in tip top shape and needs no immediate repairs other than an oil change and a good bath. To the newcomer planning to restore the machine, this means you have everything you need for the moment (something to sit in the shop and just look at for awhile while you read the books). To the newcomer that wants to get out and use the machine for field work, you may have already hit a major roadblock. That is the dreaded "proprietary hitch". With the exception of the
