I know a farmer that uses Red in his fields. He also has a restored H and M. He parks them around his barns or at the end of his drive. There might be a good chance these tractors are his father's. He doesn't use them, just shows them off.
There are no new grays working the fields, so that may be the reason farmers don't restore and display them. Only a guess. I have a Jubilee, I like mine and she still is a working girl. I don't have a desire to take mine to any shows.
I have my parent's Farmall C restored. I think it priceless. I also use it every week to mow the yard. I don't care to show my tractor, but I smile every time I use it.
