IMHO the biggest problem with Oliver hyd. is the small hyd capacity . Back in there day they were state of the art but with today's new stuff that requires higher pressures and more gallons per min. you come up short . You could maybe do a ft. mount pump off the crank like on the oliver Industrial and add a fifteen or larger aux . tank and a oil cooler inft. of the rad. I know that even with a new pump installed on my one friend's 1950 we can not run the bale wrapper vary long before the oil gets to hot and the wrapper slows down . We have to use my 806 on it as it has over twice the hyd. capacity and does not heat as bad.
