Neighbor next door had an AO- he was a plane mechanic at the airfield near Pearl Harbor during the attack-I remember walking into his barn one year with Grandpa, Irv had that AO completely torn down and spread all over the floor. Needed a new cam gear, but Deere wanted like $42 for a new one. HE MADE HIS OWN INSTEAD. Ran better than ever after that. The muffler he made wasn't quite as good, the AO would really bark pulling 3-16s through his clay. He was as deaf as a post from the airfield days, anyway, must have sounded good to him!
