Ya,just put the air chuck on there like you would if you were pumping up a tire and read the gauge on the relief valve. I have a little trouble starting a bale of there's too much windrow on one side. If you can get a good slug of hay in the center of the chamber it seems to start better. If you get hay pulled down between the pickup bands on one side or the other it can really be frustrating trying to start a bale. I seemed to have had the most trouble starting one this year if the hay was a little tough for some reason. Good dry hay hasn't bothered at all.
