Ha-Ha.... My DAD sold a brand new never used 40 year old Midwest wagon hoist at his last auction in 2006. Think it brought THREE DOLLARS. Maybe it was FIVE DOLLARS.
He bought the hoist to go under a brand new Electric Wheel/Oliver #5150 flare box on the EWC/Oliver 5026E 8-ton gear. Then he saw the neighbors new wagon with some other brand of twin cylinder hoist that straddled the center reach, let the box sit down on the frt & rear bolsters on the gear. Allowed much taller sideboards to be used and greatly increased capacity. Dad already had a Midwest hoist on a wood flare box and 5 ton Gehl gear that the box had to be spaced up 8-10 inches to clear the Godbersen link. That wagon didn't get used much, too small.
