I drink mugs (2 cups per mug) of it in the morning when I am at "the coffeeshop" (here, where else, grin) I drink at least 3 and sometimes 4 if I feel like making another partial pot. Sometimes I get up an hour or two early just to get it going. Got my BP down in low 100's and don't give it a second thought. I drink 8 O'Clock Original brand medium roast. Buy the bean and grind before brewing. Brand has been in my family over 80 years. I think The Great Atlantic % Pacific Tea Company (were local A&P Grocery stores) either came up with the brew or it was (I remember) sold there. I know they had a Red, Yellow, and Brown bag back then. Today it's the Red bag for me......never bitter, make it as black as you want.
WW is the only place that sells it around here now. 2 1/2 # sack was running $14+ and when the coffee scare came out not too long ago....a year maybe......and Juan Valdez slipped on the mountain top and can't work and there was supposed to be a coffee bean famine, WW dropped their price to $12+. Figure that.
