My Dad had a 60 and a 66 in the 1960's. They were a very popular combine around here. A little hard to put a 10 foot swath of heavy grain through, but the straight cut worked well. The ones I.ve seen were all PTO driven. 60 or 66 inch cut, 60 inch rubber cylinder bars, very gentle on specialty crops like clover. Grain was carried up to the cylinder by a canvas on rollers, grain and straw were separated crosswise on the rear of the combine with a right hand discharge for the straw. Bin held around 30 bushel I think, some had baggers, some had an unloading auger for bulk grain. My Dad modified the header on a few to thresh sunflowers. 10 acres a day meant a long day with no stops.
