Don’t be scared. Guns are tools just like a hammer, a knife or screwdriver...
If put into the hands of someone who is not sane, ALL can become deadly.
When used properly, they are good. It's really fun to target shoot. Trap shooting would be fun if I could hit a moving target.
Carry and conceal is a way to protect one's self and one’s family from harm. Just once, I'd like to see one person in a crowd have the "tool" and the ability to stop a madman from ending the lives of numerous innocent people.
If every last gun in the world were destroyed - people would just use something else to do bad things to other people... a hammer, a rock, a knife.
Cain did not have a gun when he ended the life of his brother, Abel. It's been a problem down through the ages… but media sensationalism just makes matters worse by giving undue attention to people who are not sane and wish to gain notoriety.
