I have been in those barns year round and the cows are pretty pampered. As for you thoughts on health issues. My classmate says their vet bills are way less than when they used to have 100 head tie stall barn. They do a good job on keeping their cows in good long term health and do not seem to push them as hard as some do. No BST. So it can be done "right".
