There is no such thing as a rare Ford though some models are uncommon. The 501s belong to the uncommon ones. But like any other tractor their value will be determined by the usual factors - hours, tires, tin, paint and on those, whether all of the unique offset parts are still there. There was a nice one here in the Twin Cities that a guy was advertising on Craigslist for a long time. He started at $8K then $7500, then $7250, etc. The last I remember it was about $6K but I quit looking after that. I have no idea of it's condition - up close and personal - though it did look good in the photos. Also don't know if it ever sold. If you want a better idea of the value of one we would need Much more info, probably along with some good photos. The guys on the Ford board would be the best ones to ask.
