I buy most of my stuff at Oreillys because they are open later and open on Sunday. Their website is pretty decent and shows the stock of the local store. I also get a discount there. I do always dread seeing a new guy behind the counter. I usually have to train them to look up parts in the books since I buy a lot of odd stuff. Oil is cheaper at Walmart. Paint is cheaper at Napa.
Yesterday, after ordering some seals from them (I gave them the exact part number after checking on their website), much to the relief of the parts guy), I chose to answer a question from a young man trying to order valve covers for a 350 Chevy for an old truck. I don't think the parts guy had ever seen a carbureted 350 in real life.
