There's only one way to clean it right. It has to come apart, all the brass plugs removed, needles out, nozzle removed. Clean all components. Then get a proper drill kit and clean all passages. Replace the gaskets and worn shafts and bushings. Re-assemble and adjust. That's what you get when you have a pro rebuild your carb. In your case, if you're satisfied with the way the tractor runs, leave it alone. Clean the outside for painting, trying not to disturb anything.
