This morning I had to go to Cedar Rapids for a Grand-daughter event. I had a little time and it was in the area, so I stopped at Tractor Supply for a fuel shut off valve and a couple feet of gas line hose for my garden tractor. I found the valve for $7 and the gas hose for $9, both packaged in Briggs and Stratton packaging. I looked for hose off the roll and didn't find any. Also I didn't find anyone that looked like they had time to help and didn't find any. I put the valve back on the shelf. Later in the day as I was leaving town, I stopped at O'Reilly. They had the same valve in a different package and cut hose off the roll. I walked out the door with the pair for the same price as just the hose earlier. A $7 savings. That was over a 40% savings!
