Decades ago when I was a young punk kid in High School working at a then national chain called Fleenor's Auto Parts, we often did that as well. True, the hours are posted on the door, but what do you do when someone comes racing up, and you know they aren't doing it because they have nothing better to do, or you receive a phone call inquiring or begging, and like you said...it still takes time to close it all down, generally a good half hour at least. Yep, can easily and rightfully say "NO, we're closed", but then again...
