It has bugged my neighbor for 15 years because I mow the riparian near our houses a little bit at a time. I found that preditors show to ambush rats and rabbits crossing mowed strips. I might mow a liitle at dawn then sit on the deck to watch while having breakfast. Best show yet was while burning wheat stubble I decided to burn a fencerow where i planned building a new fence. Different neighbor started running up and down,in and out of burning fencerow. Turned out that's where he hide a jug of Ky sour mash from his wife. Rascal never put any out there after that. Don't ask how I know.
