The ticking sounds like lifter noise. Run the lifters, check the clearance with the plugs out, turning the engine through by hand, feel for the loosest position, set them there. Look the springs over while in there, be sure none are broken.
The water pump doesn't appear to have excessive runout. Wobble in the bearings is another thing, that is not good. Try starting it up with the belt off. That will tell you if the noise is in the pump, belt or generator.
A couple more tricks, use the "screw driver stethoscope" method. Hold the handle of a long screw driver to your ear, touch it to various places on the engine, listen to locate the source of the sound. Also, pull one plug wire at a time, see if it affects the noise. Lifter noise won't be affected. Noise associated with the piston, wrist pin, rod bearings will usually change with the wire removed.
