They have been doing that a long time here in central Iowa. there is a large natural storage facility near Redfield Iowa. Years ago gas was leaking into a farmers well that lived nearby. The story goes that the well was right beside the house, and when the toilet was flushed the pump motor arced and the explosion blew the side off the house. Anyway Northern Natural Gas co. bought his farm and he moved to another farm. This is supposed to be true.
