It was on the news a few days ago; authorities raided a charity that was collecting money for children with cancer. Best guess was that they bilked the public for $200 million dollars and the executives have disappeared. Organized Charities are making executives rich and very few dollars ever get to a person in need. I won't give any of them a dollar anymore. I do my charity work for friends in need and directly to a children's hospital.
Besides, once you send one of those charities money, they start frequent requests asking for more money!
